Zhuoqian Yu wanted to narrate an impactful story and message to the audience, which deals with problematic social schemes and stereotypes that negatively affect the individuals around the world.

Lighting was a huge part of this film, showing the progressions along with the character's emotional arc and overcoming with her inner struggle.

For Colors, we mainly focused on yellow vs. blue and red + yellow/purple combination to deliver the optimal aesthetics and dramatic contrasts needed for each scene.

We used Anamorphic Lenses to reveal more negative space to accentuate her loneliness and Frame-Within-A-Frame to create a sense of being trapped for the protagonist.
